Scouting movement at Via Ferrata of Thuyets

In the past, crossing the Ardèche has required men to be ingenious: they first crossed the ford, then building bridges and finally installing cables and nacelles, thanks to several complex techniques.

Transposition of this old mode of transport on cables naturally led to build this project of via ferrata, which is the first in Ardèche!

We left with a beautiful team of Scouts to meet traditions, a rich heritage and a tumultuous volcanism. The fresh air rising from the river and the view from zip lines at more than 50 m high are incredible!
